The GardenAcademy, launched in 2024, was a great success again this year in Tabdi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enthusiastic garden lovers were treated to presentations on nature-friendly and sustainable gardening, soil life and soil improvement, among other topics. We also had the opportunity to talk about our green approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his presentation, Istv\u00e1n Zaj\u00e1cz, our managing director, drew attention to the fact that the health of our plants is based on the soil. It is important to see it not just as a medium, but as a living system, the great thing about which is that if we take care of it, it can nourish our plants. Good soil is full of beneficial fungi, bacteria and tiny organisms that work with plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a hobby gardener, you can do a lot for the health of the soil: instead of digging and turning, cover it with mulch, so that the organic matter accumulated in it makes it more vital, improves its air and water retention capacity and makes the soil more friable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our products have been selected to help gardeners who care deeply about preserving and restoring the natural balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Dr. Erzs\u00e9bet Karaffa, professor at the University of Debrecen, the Tricho Immun<\/a> one of the discoverers of its active substance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her presentation, Elisabeth showed that there are tiny fungi - the Trichoderma<\/a> -, which are a real help in gardening. These microscopic creatures live inside plants and help protect them from pathogenic fungi.\u00a0<\/strong>In addition, as \"plant probiotics\", they can strengthen the immune system of plants, promote better nutrient uptake and even boost stress tolerance.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the Tricho Immun<\/a>-Trichoderma strains isolated from grapes are equally effective in other fruits or vegetable and ornamental plants.\u00a0<\/strong>In these crops, Trichoderma fungi have also been shown to crowd out pathogenic fungi and produce more and more colourful flowers, stronger shoots and healthier crops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the performances were taking place, the exhibition space\u00a0Our consultant Korn\u00e9lia Dezs\u0151 analysed more than 50 soil samples with the help of our soil scanner.<\/strong>\u00a0And at the end of the lunch break, a short impromptu demonstration showed the audience how the soil scanner works. An enthusiastic gardener talked about his soil, and Istv\u00e1n Zaj\u00e1cz analysed the results of the scan in front of the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
