What does a gardener do this autumn? He clears the shed, collects leaves, composts, covers, or perhaps moves to a more sheltered place and plants. But who thinks of spraying at this time? The forward-thinking, careful gardener.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Autumn wash-off spraying<\/strong> one of the most important plant protection operations for fruit trees, berries and ornamental plants. Its aim is to kill pathogens (fungi, bacteria) and pests (mites, scale insects, aphid eggs, etc.) lurking on trees, canes and bud scales before they multiply again in spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditional autumn foliar spraying (copper-based products, oil-based products and combinations of these) is carried out after the leaves have fallen, when the trees are dormant but frosts have not yet set in. Temperatures should be above +5 \u00b0C and there should be no wind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This might be a perfect external protection, but what if we could recommend an internal protection instead of or in addition to it?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The two plants in Tricho Immun\u00a0Trichoderma<\/a><\/em>\u00a0strain fungi need time, about 3-4 weeks, to multiply in the plant. This is why one of the important times to treat our woody plants - especially fruit trees - is while the foliage is green, or after the leaves have fallen, whenever the weather permits. This treatment time is particularly important against early attack pathogens such as taffron and monilia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The external, conventional detergent treatment and the Tricho Immunos <\/a>internal protection are not mutually exclusive, in fact! There is only one rule to be observed: a minimum of 2 weeks between treatments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the garden centres you can buy fruit trees, berries, grapes and forestry seedlings after about 20 October. The following planting technology has also done fantastically well with our large-scale farmers. Why wouldn't it work in a home garden?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
