In this article Asco Alga<\/a> we spoke to the French manufacturer of our product. Our questions were answered by Andr\u00e9 Yvin, one of the company's founders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we think back to our childhood, we can remember many adventures that we can tell our grandchildren about, because they will still be memorable. I could almost see it in my mind's eye when Andr\u00e9 told me how he used to pick seaweed as a child on the beaches of the Brittany region of France, as he had seen his grandfather do it, following generations of experience in using the parts of plants he had collected on the beaches to feed his fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, thanks to a lot of research and the rapid spread of information, more and more is known about the beneficial effects of algae on both the human body and plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andr\u00e9 presented two experiments in his presentation. In one of them, the effect of algae on genes that influence nutrient uptake was investigated in maize and spinach cultures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this experiment, chicory and maize stands were used to investigate the Asco Alga <\/a>the effect on the size of the root mass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
