The secret of a green lawn: with our product Blackjak

Blackjak

Lawn care isn't always a first-time success, so we're sharing our experiences of how to achieve a long-lasting, lush lawn with Danuba Garden products, especially our Blackjak humic acid product.

Preparing and improving the soil

One key to successful lawn care is proper soil preparation. In our experience, improving soil quality is essential as it increases water and nutrient uptake. A Blackjak our high organic matter content makes it an excellent product for this purpose. It is recommended to treat the whole area with Blackjak solution: 2 dl of the preparation mixed in 10 litres of water. A 10 litre backpack sprayer will easily do the job and the treatment should be repeated over time. A 40-litre mixture is sufficient to water a large garden, and treatment should be repeated occasionally for long-lasting results.

Important Considerations for Grooming

There are a number of factors to consider in the lawn care process:

Initially, weeds are often dominant, but with proper watering and mowing, their presence will diminish over time. Weeding is a skilled task, so it is recommended that you hire a professional if possible.

In Practice

We recommend that the weeding process is carried out in several steps, starting with weed control and ending with thorough soil preparation, including cultivation, repeated passes over the area with a compactor to dust and treat the weeds, and manual removal of larger stones. This is followed by the sowing of grass seed, which is completed by raking and possibly rolling.
