You feel lucky to be able to travel and experience new places and cultures. And when gardeners travel, they are always keen to observe their surroundings and take a closer look at the local flora, and it's no different here: let us show you 1-2 interesting things from our trip to Germany - see how the Germans "green up"!
How much more beautiful a building is decorated with flowers!
This picture Munich in the city, where the centuries-old town hall is decorated with beautiful plants. (There is also an official Bayer Munich football club shop opposite, where fans can dress up in Musiala or Kane jerseys, clothes and accessories 😁)

Innsbruck we also visited the imperial castle. Here, instead of geraniums, the small garden, enclosed by buildings, was filled with running plants. Judging by the beach chairs, which don't really match the design, the garden is probably being used. A small fountain in the middle provides cool water. The town takes its name from the river Inn and the word bruck bridge.

Counts and arboretums
The following is the On an island in the middle of Lake Constance made. This island is owned by a count's family, but one of the first owners was the Esterházy family of Hungarian origin. They started the development of the arboretum, which was later continued by others.

On the same island in the middle of Lake Constance, on top of the biggest trees lightning rods so that if lightning strikes them, it runs down into the ground and does not destroy the plant. Few people know that during lightning, nitrogen from the air is absorbed into the soil and increases its nitrogen supply. As they say, there is good in every bad thing 😊

This picture also shows that is better when combined with a wide range of plantsthan flower beds planted with a single type of flower. As each different species has a different root, it interacts with beneficial bacteria and fungi in the soil. So if you want to improve your soil, increase the diversity of the plants in it!

Lawn
This picture shows that the lawn is cut in stages. Not because they are lazy, but because they give the animals living among the grassland plants the opportunity to migrate to areas where the plants are higher and thus remain more protected. We should strive to maintain the diversity of our gardens, because there are no useful or useless animals, all of them have a role to play in the biological cycle. If you kill a species of animal, you kill the creatures that feed on it, and so on. Let us not try to outsmart nature, let us learn from it!

It is little used, but shade is provided by arbours and arches covered with plants. This picture shows a small one, but it was still nice to stand in its shade. It's also better for the soil to live in the shade of plants 😁
Roses
It is useful to plant plants under the tall plants (which cover the soil less) that can also perform this function. We too often dry out the soil under the roses, but based on this example, we will also plant plants that will cover them well and keep the soil from drying out underneath. It's also nicer than plastic or wood mulch, and more beneficial for soil life! This picture Munich where they are already preparing for the beer festival in October. Beer festivals are held in every major German city, not just Munich, which is the biggest and most famous in the world.

And finally, not a plant picture, but a very practical way to turn a tree trunk into a bicycle shed! I really like it and 100% is natural. When it decomposes and is destroyed years later, it will turn into humus in the soil.

Product recommendation
If you want to have a variety of plants covering the soil in your garden, choose the Danuba 10M seed mix!

Three reasons why you should choose this product:
- Micorrhizal fungi which not only supports the cover crop mixture with more water and nutrients, but also the plants sown afterwards
- More than 60% in the seed mixture butterflies are able to fix up to the nitrogen needs of our plants from the air
- If you cover the soil, then the heat up less, and dries out, so more is left over from the active soil life. And without soil life there is no crop production! Only in healthy soil will you have beautiful and healthy plants!
