Planting time? - February, the time for planting

Once you have what you want to sow and the right quality seed, you can start sowing seeds for some crops. A for seedling production because its main advantage is that it can significantly accelerate the development of long growing season, mostly frost-sensitive plant species and varieties.

Okay, okay, but which one can we sow when?

The answer is not that complicated. What do you need to grow seedlings?

You can also find a variety of modern seedling nurseries and garden centres. It is best to use a tall transparent lid that fits in a window vessel we choose. You can then put a small pot, a pierced sour cream glass or a peat jar in it. A growing media can be specifically potting soil or the nowadays increasingly widespread coconut fibre.

Well, back to the sowing...

It's a good idea to sow the seeds a little before sowing soak. Although the wet seeds are a bit harder to dig up and sow afterwards, it's worth a bit of fiddling around with for future protection. You can also put the seeds in plain water, but you can add two DanubaGarden preparation:

Tricho Immun

to prevent fungal diseases

Trichoderma simmonsii and Trichoderma afroharzianum contains fungi that can neutralise and break down harmful fungi and boost the plant's immune system. Since the fungus lives in the tissues of the crop for the rest of its life, it has a good chance of protecting the plant from subsequent fungal attack, e.g. tomato blight (Phytophtora infestans) or cucumber peronospora (Pseudoperonospora cubensis). 

Dosage: In 1 dl water, mix 1-2 g Tricho Immunt (0,1-0,2 % solution)

Kelpak

Auxin is the plant hormone primarily responsible for root development. A Kelpak Ecklonia maxima is made from marine algae and contains high doses of auxin substances.

Dosage: 1 dl of water 1-2 ml Kelpak (1-2 % solutions)

After sowing the seeds, all you need to do is keep the soil moist and place them in a warm, sunny spot.

To feed is only necessary when the plant has sprouted and has a few leaves. You can use organic fertilizers, but you can also continue with algae watering or spraying Asco Algával.

Asco Alga

From Asco Alga Ascophyllum nodosum contains seaweed, which is the Kelpakcontains a growth hormone that acts not as an auxin but as a cytokinin. cytokinin the plant hormone responsible for intensive growth. In these algae products, it is not primarily the nutrients that are important, but the substances (e.g. polyamines, organic acids, alginates, plant hormones) that make the plant more resistant, increase its water and nutrient uptake and its utilisation. Dosage: 1-2 dl (1-2%) in 10 litres of water
