A good gardener constantly improves, innovates and uses the winter to plan. We can tell you from experience that when we feel we have "full" garden and nothing to plant, there's always something new to do: a new bed, new garden furniture or ornaments, bulbous plants can always be added...
Where can we find inspiration? You have to find your way through countless gardening journals, magazines, internet articles, gardening influencers and gardening TV shows, which is not an easy task!
When designing an ornamental garden...
...often it's not specific plants you should be looking for, but the atmosphere of the garden where you would feel comfortable. English, minimal, Mediterranean?
Lush or clean, easy to care for?

We also need a little self-awareness:
- How much time will we have to tend the garden? Do we like to garden, do we like to soil?
- What do we want to do in the garden: barbecue, play football, playground, sit around?
- What tools are available to us?
- What are our irrigation options?

Once everything has been answered, we can proceed to the survey, drawing, selection of features, plant selection. Many tips can be found on the internet, but if you are unsure, it can be useful to ask local garden centres for advice or consult a garden and landscape architect. As with ornamental gardens we plan for several years, decades, it is very important to take the time to plan and dare to ask a professional.
Remember: there is no wrong question!
What else can we plan?
For example, what are the projected soil treatment and plant protection will be needed. What are the most common pests and pathogens in the chosen plant species? Fortunately, by planning ahead, you can do a lot to prevent problems. A at Danuba Garden offers a chemical-free, natural solution all year round:

... whether it's increasing soil vitality, rooting, promoting flowering and intensive growth, or biological control.
