Dose: 2 dl/10 litres of spray juice
Please pay special attention to the dose and time of application (temperature, time of day) so you don't have to worry about scorching. Application on hot days should be avoided. Application above 22 degrees is not recommended. Clean the application equipment used before and after spraying with clean water.
What is it good for?
- Its most important role is to enhance the hormone auxin, but it is also essential for nitrogen metabolism and strengthening cell membranes. Plants sensitive to zinc deficiency are grapes, fruit, maize and some vegetable crops.
- It is not very mobile in soil, the low pH favours its uptake. High phosphorus, calcium or low organic matter can be expected to be deficient.

- For the prevention of zinc deficiency in arable and horticultural crops, especially for the adequate supply of zinc-demanding crops (e.g. maize).
- In maize at 4-6 leaf stage. In soybeans, peas just before flowering. Application at a dose of 1 l/ha in 150-200 litres of spray is recommended.
- In vegetable crops when soil/leaf analysis justifies its use (areas with poor zinc supply) and in case of expected zinc deficiency.

Zinc influences the following physiological processes: one of its most important roles is to enhance the plant hormone auxin, which is compensated by manganese to prevent auxin levels from being too high. The plant hormone auxin influences (catalyses) root and shoot growth. Thus, without adequate zinc content, the plant root and shoot will not grow to optimum size. It also plays a functional role in the synthesis of tryptophan (essential amino acid) in nitrogen metabolism.
