Ino Organik Copper

Dose: 2 dl/10 litres of spray juice

Please pay special attention to the dose and time of application (temperature, time of day) to avoid occasional scorching. Application on hot days should be avoided, application above 22 degrees is not recommended. Clean the application equipment used before and after spraying with clean water.

What is it good for?

The high active ingredient content of Ino Organik Copper and its 100% utilisation guarantee the prevention or treatment of copper deficiency. The foliar fertilizer also contains organic lignosulfonate chelate to chelate the copper cation in the product. This natural chelating agent improves the adherence and penetration of the foliar fertiliser into the leaf. It thus maximises the utilisation of Ino Organic Copper.

For all our products, the manufacturer guarantees the germ count and active ingredient content for 24 months from the date of manufacture.

It means that there is no crystallisation, no scorching. It may also indicate good coverage and hiding power.

Copper influences the following physiological processes: copper protects chlorophyll from premature degradation, and thus photosynthesis - carbohydrate production - becomes more active with iron, and it participates in nitrate reduction, where nitrogen is converted into a form that can be taken up by the plant.

Copper plays an important role in carbohydrate (sugar) production processes. Copper also plays an important role in nitrogen uptake and protein synthesis.

This natural chelating agent improves the adherence and penetration of the foliar fertiliser into the leaf. It thus maximises the utilisation of Ino Organic Copper. As lignosulphonate is not an artificial chelating agent (it is extracted from natural wood lignin), it can also be used in organic farming.

Copper protects the chlorophyll from premature degradation, making photosynthesis - the production of carbohydrates - more active. Iron is involved in nitrate reduction, where nitrogen is converted into a form that can be absorbed by the plant. Various copper-containing enzymes are found in chloroplasts (photosynthetic cell organelles). Copper is an electron transporting enzyme in these enzymes because it can change its chemical value. Nearly 70% of the total copper is in these chloroplasts, similar to iron Copper plays a significant role in carbohydrate (sugar) production processes Copper also plays an important role in nitrogen uptake and protein synthesis.

Copper in soil and plants: The cations in the soil (Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn, Mg, Ca ...) are antagonistic to each other (especially copper and zinc) and thus displace each other from the chelates, colloidal surfaces or root surfaces. Thus, their harmonious ratio is of utmost importance. If one cation becomes predominant, it may inhibit the uptake of the others. Therefore, it is very important to have extended soil tests and their analysis before fertilizer application. The uptake of copper is more favourable at lower pH (acid soils) because the hydrogen ion then displaces copper from the surface of the colloids and they are dissolved in solution.

Copper is rapidly bound to humic acids or to insoluble copper compounds (copper phosphate, copper carbonate, copper sulphide, etc.) and is not very mobile. These compounds can be solubilised by soil bacteria and converted into an absorbable form. This is why active soil life is so important!

Copper has little mobility in the plant, so if it is lacking, it should be replenished through the foliage, as it is not transported from older leaves to younger leaves. Thus, the symptoms of copper deficiency also appear earlier on young leaves. And it is quickly fixed in the soil.
