🌱 9.15–10.00 | The secrets of soil life

Why isn’t what’s under our feet simply „earth”?

Natallia Gulbis, one of Europe’s leading soil biology experts, guides us through the invisible world of the soil.

Among other things, the discussion will cover the role of humus, beneficial microorganisms, soil biota and the importance of mulching. We can learn how healthy soil works and what we can do to support this life in our own gardens too. 🦠🌱

🧪 10:00–10:45 | Biostimulants – what are they and what are they used for?

You hear more and more about it on biostimulants, soil and plant conditioners – but what do these terms actually mean?

Dr István Parádi provides a clear introduction to the world of biostimulants: how they can be categorised, how they affect plants, and why they can be useful in our own garden.

🌿 11.30–12.30 | Danuba Garden Technology – from healthy soil to resilient plants

What can we do to ensure our garden is better adapted to increasingly extreme conditions?

Ági and Vera explain, step by step, how we can support the soil fertility and the natural resistance of our plants.

We’ll be discussing drought, strong UV radiation, and insect and fungal infestations, as well as gentle plant protection solutions that can be easily incorporated into everyday gardening. 🌱☀️💧

At the end of the day, we hand over to the practical experience.

Miklós Szomoru and Benjámin Németh draw on their own gardening experiences to show what works in practice – and what it often takes years to learn.

You’ll find useful advice, tried-and-tested methods and handy little tips that you can even give it a go in your own garden. 🥕🌻🍅
