MikoMax Garden 360g

Dose: As stated on the packet, this is sufficient for an area of 200 m²; simply use the scoop provided in the packet to scoop a single measure into the planting hole

What is the mycorrhizal fungus and biostimulant MikoMax Garden good for?

  1. Increases the uptake of nutrients from the soil by plants
  2. Improves the plant's more efficient use of water
  3. Strengthens the natural resistance of plants
  4. Creating a more active and healthy soil life
  5. Thanks to the above, it improves crop quality and increases yields
  6. Due to its content of six types of arbuscular and one type of ectomycorrhizal fungal genera, it can be used in soils with different pH levels (acidic, neutral or alkaline)
  7. They help the plant not only in the early stages of its life, but throughout its life, e.g. in grapes for up to 50 years.

How to apply?

The MikoMax Garden should be sprayed into the planting hole so that it is close to the roots of the plant. You don't need to sprinkle much (about a teaspoonful) because, in theory, only the hyphae thread of a single spore, if it gets into the root of the plant, will then entangle the plant.

Why should I choose this product?

  1. Diversity of mycorrhizal species: there are nearly 200 strains of mycorrhizal fungi, each of which has a different soil effect. So, for example, if a product has 6+1 mycorrhizal strains - as in MikoMax Garden - it has 6 times better adaptive capacity than single strain products.
  2. An important indicator is the quantity of mycorrhizal strains per cm³ of product. In the longest-established mycorrhizal product, this figure is 20, whilst in MikoMax Garden it is 500. In other words, the MikoMax Garden mycorrhizal product contains 25 times more active ingredient!
  3. Active ingredient content: a total of 360,000 propagules per litre from 6+1 mycorrhizal strains (500,000 MPN/litre – manufacturer’s measurement). The composition of the mycorrhizal strains contained therein:Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal species:
    • Funneliformis mosseae (Glomus mosseae),
    • Funneliform geosporus (Glomus geosporum),
    • Claroideoglomus clarodeum (Glomus claroideum),
    • Rhizophagus intraradices (Glomus intraradices),
    • Glomus microaggregatum,
    • Diversispora spp.

    Ectomycorrhizal fungi:

    • Scleroderma citrinum (spores, mycelia, dried colonised root fragments)
    • pumice, zeolite

    Total inoculum number: 360 UPM/g

Storage and shelf life: It retains its quality for 3 years when stored in its original packaging at temperatures between 2 and 48 °C. Once opened, it should be used as soon as possible; however, if tightly resealed and stored in a cool, frost-free place, it can be used for 6 months without any loss of quality. The product’s packaging may vary, but the quality of the product inside remains unchanged.

🧐 Did you know?

Mycorrhizal fungal species form a symbiotic relationship with the host plant, increasing its water and nutrient supply, stress tolerance and resistance to pests.

🍄 More about Micorrhiza

It symbiotically interacts with the host plant, supporting it in taking up adequate amounts of water and nutrients during stressful periods such as frost or drought. The mycorrhiza, with a hyphal filament many hundreds of times the size of the host plant's root, can take up water and nutrients from much further away and more efficiently for the host plant.

Since mycorrhizal fungi need root contact, we need to get them close to the root, max 1-2 cm from the root, when applying. For larger trees, it should be applied around the canopy in several places under the canopy stump. It is recommended to apply to the smaller, thinner roots.

The mycorrhizal fungus penetrates the host plant and strengthens its natural immune system, making it more resistant to fungal diseases. Mycorrhizae secrete substances that increase and improve soil aggregates, which are among the most important components of soil.

🤝 Why is this cooperation good for the crop and how is it achieved?

Early in their growing season, plants get natural help from mycorrhizal fungi to take up more water and nutrients. At this time, the plants secrete substances that attract these fungi and encourage them to use part of their hyphal filaments to penetrate the roots of the crop.

🌱 Lawn care with Micorrhiza

It is an arbuscular, or endo mycorrhizal, organism that forms a symbiotic relationship with 90% in plants, such as our lawns too..
It is recommended to apply this product in one of the following ways:
1. The product should be spread and worked in shallowly before lawn care.
2. Mix with the lawn seeds and apply the mixture all at once.

The plant senses whether it can absorb water and nutrients from the soil on its own or whether it needs nature's help. If it senses that it needs help, it secretes ready-made nutrients, carbohydrates, amino acids and other signalling substances produced by itself into the soil through its roots. The mycorrhizal fungus senses this signal, and it moves towards the root and then penetrates the root.
