How does it work?
- A kind of functions as a herbal sunscreen, thereby reflecting some of the sun’s rays and harmful UV radiation, thus reducing the plant’s temperature. The amino acids in the formulation protect the plant against stress caused by drought and heat. It achieves this by helping the cells to store more water and by protecting protein molecules so that they do not „cook” in the intense heat.
- Helps to optimise the functioning of the leaf air sacs, thereby the plant makes better use of water.
- The product contains calcium and silicon below 10 microns, which means it can easily penetrate the plant and exert its positive effects.
- The product can also be used for foliar calcium supplementation.
How to apply?
Spray 1-2 dl in 10 litres of water at a temperature of 10-25°C, preferably in the morning or late afternoon. Aim for perfect coverage, also on the back of the leaves. It is recommended to repeat the treatment 2-3 times. This way, the 5 dl (0,5 L) spray can be used for 3-5 sprays (in a 10 litre backpack sprayer). Due to the product’s alkaline pH, it must be applied on its own and must not be mixed with other products. After application, a whitish coating will appear on the produce (this is the sunscreen), which may be unsightly but can be washed off with water. The treated fruit and vegetables can be eaten immediately after washing.

Why should I choose this product?

What is it made of?
The silicon in the product has been tested by the manufacturer to form a protective coating on the leaf and the upper cells of the leaf with 440 g/l calcium oxide (CaO), 31 g/l silicon oxide (SiO) and L-proline amino acid (active form of plant origin).
