What is DefenSivo used for?
Unlike other silicon-based products, DefenSivo contains absorbable silicon. This means it is able to penetrate the plant, rather than simply adhering to the surface of the leaves. Once inside the leaf, the silicon is incorporated into the plant’s cell walls, strengthening them. This makes the plant more resistant to wind and fungal attacks.
As silicon also strengthens the cells of the stomata, these can function optimally even in dry conditions, enabling the plant to utilise the available water efficiently. As a result, it dries out less than a plant not treated with DefenSivo.
How to apply?
The product is available in 10 ml packs, and this is the dosage to be used with a 10-litre backpack sprayer. First, fill the backpack sprayer halfway with water, then add 10 ml of DefenSivo to the spray mixture. Next, rinse the ampoule several times and pour the contents into the spray mixture. Finally, top up the sprayer tank with water.
If you are applying DefenSivo together with another product, add DefenSivo to the spray mixture first.

Why should I choose this product?

How to apply?
For use in small domestic gardens: 10 ml per 10 litres of water. In a home garden, mix 10 ml, i.e. one ampoule, into 10 litres of spray solution. Rinse the ampoule several times to ensure that the active ingredients are transferred into the spray solution.
It is important to always add DefenSivo to the sprayer first. For foliar treatment, it is advisable to time the applications to coincide with periods of heightened physiological activity in the plant.
What does DefenSivo contain?
Trace elements (Fe 1.4 g/l, Zn 1.2 g/l, Mo 0.04 g/l) and silicon (20 g/l) in the form of orthosilicic acid. Its use can help to reduce trace element deficiencies.
Storage and shelf life: When stored in its original, unopened packaging in a dry place at a temperature of 5–25 °C, away from direct sunlight, it will retain its quality for 2 years.
