As with all plants, when caring for your lawn ALAP A TALAJ! A good lawn-soil:
- crumbly (not compact)
- holds water well, but does not stand up to it
- full of life (worms, microbes)
- allows deep rooting

Soil preparation before sowing
- on sandy soil replenishment of organic matter is the most important to keep water and nutrients in the root zone
- on clay soil it is a good idea to sow the grass seed together with the sand, so that the sand loosens the clayey, bound soil. The sand can be spread later to improve the soil structure.
Whether you are sowing grass seed or laying turf, it is a good idea to start with a little starter organic manure after soil amendment, then directly to the seed or under the turf Mikomax spreading mycorrhizae. Of course, it is essential for germination and rooting to keep the area constantly moist at first. Rooting can be supported by Kelpak with algae (2 dl per 10 l of water), then add more organic matter Blackjak (2 dl per 10 l water). The latter will also help the water balance and nutrient supply of the area.

Danuba Garden lawn technology step by step - existing lawn
- Aeration of the lawn in the spring, which brings air to the roots, eliminates compaction, helps water infiltration and removes dead plant parts.
- For lawn renewal, greening, and preventive fungus control Tricho Immun 50 g / 10 litres of water Asco Alga 2 dl / 10 litres of water
- For soil improvement, to increase humus content: Blackjak 2 dl / 10 litres of water in spring 1 x compost (for clay soil 60-70 % sand + 30-40 % mature compost) in 0,5-1 cm layer OR animal manure (chicken, beef) organic manure pellets
- To support intensive growth: Asco Alga 2 dl / 10 litres of water. Repeat the latter two treatments alternately, about every two weeks!
- In the autumn, you can again use the same aeration and soil conditioning and nutrient replenishment as in the spring, to make it as resistant as possible to the winter weather. In addition, as a preventive measure, a Tricho Immunos treatment (50 g/10 l water) to prevent fungal diseases in winter (snowdrop).

Why do we recommend these products for lawns?
Blackjak, is a humic preparation containing not only humic acid but all the components of humus (humic acid, fulvic acid, ulmic acid, humins). It is not specifically a nutrient, but rather a „catalyst” which
- helps nutrient absorption
- improves soil structure
- enhances root growth
Experiments have shown that the Blackjak can also be used to green the lawn, see our previous blog post!
Kelpak in algae, the rooting effect of the hormone auxin is well established.

Tricho Immun, living in plants Trichoderma fungus, which multiplies and fills the space for pathogenic fungi. It is most effective when the soil is improved and the lawn is fed + using the right irrigation technology alone goes a long way towards prevention.
Asco Alga, natural substances such as cytokinin in algae cream stimulate growth, green the plant and support it against possible stress effects.
