MicrOil
NEW PRODUCT! EXPECTED TO BE AVAILABLE IN FEBRUARY!
Dispensing: 2 dl
What is the MicrOil?
Many of the insect pests and fungi overwinter on plants during the winter. From there they attack during the spring warm-up. By using oil-containing products, we can control these harmful insects and fungi without harming our plants, people or the environment.
How to apply?
When sprayed on the tree/wooden surface, the oil forms a film-like coating on the wood and prevents the insects or their eggs underneath from breathing. In home gardens 0,3 dl/10 litres of water.

Substitute product:
effective protection against bacterial, fungal and insect attacks
Why should I choose this product?
- The sunflower oil in the product is formulated in a micro-emulsion system, which is stabilised by surface tension reducing agents. In other words, the surface tension reducers help make the otherwise insoluble water and oil miscible.
- This micro-emulsion allows a thinner oily film to be created on the plant, so the dose is much lower than for conventional oils and there will be little phytotoxicity to the plant.
- The product is less sensitive to water temperature, pH and hardness than non-micro-emulsion products.
How do oily products work?
- When sprayed on the wood, the oil forms a film-like coating on the wood and prevents the insects or their eggs underneath from breathing
Which insects can this treatment be effective against?
- It is mainly effective against small insects such as lice, fleas and mites. It has a repellent (deterrent) effect on larger ones.
What other active ingredients does MicrOil contain?
- Honeysuckle extract: its high silicon content strengthens the leaves and activates the immune system. It makes plants resistant to insect attack.
- Cinnamon extract: the cinnamaldehyde in it has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Its scent is insect repellent.
- Thyme: the active substances it contains, such as thymol, are effective against harmful fungi and bacteria. The smell and taste of thyme repels insects. The salicylic acid it contains boosts the plant's immune system
What is the recommended dose?
- On large-scale farms: 0.15-0.3 l/100 litres of water (lower dose mixed with other products)
- In home gardens 0.25-0.3 dl/10 litres of water (1 dl is enough for 3-4 sprays with 10 litres of water)
A proposal for its use:
- Avoid spraying in hot weather (above 25 degrees). Ideal application is in the morning and late afternoon.
- Try to spray the whole surface of the plants, including the back of the leaves, because it is a contact product, which means it has to come into contact with insects and fungi
Exit dates:
- Autumn wash treatment after leaf fall or spring wash at the end of winter
- At bud break, when the insects and fungi „come out”. It is recommended to repeat the treatment after 1-2 weeks
Storage: 2 years if properly stored
Composition: sunflower oil 98,5% + nettle extract 1,5%
